Shelby is a very strong and vibrant worker. She is conscientious and willing to accommodate the professor’s needs at any second. Shelby has never been afraid to do any job we have asked her to do. Shelby always finishes any job she starts and is ready to help others with their jobs. Shelby can multi task and is able to juggle many daily operational items at the same time. She is always pleasant and understanding to the Professors, Students, and Staff. Shelby is willing to pick up extra shifts when needed. Shelby works hard at doing her job and still is able to keep up on her class work.
I would hire Shelby for any job based on her work ethic alone. She is a fine employee and I am glad we have her.

Shelby takes full initiative to educate herself on her job each day to make sure the Financial Aid office is organized and compliant. Shelby is always eager to learn and patiently teach others. She takes personal accountability to assure the quality of her department. Shelby has a unique passion to customer service. Through kindness, active listening, empathy, and understanding she builds a great relationship with each student to help them manage their educational investment. Students have developed a positive rapport and respect with Shelby that empowers them to take ownership of their Ross financial obligations to the school. If a student is unable or unwilling to commit to their financial obligations she approaches each situation with an empathy and delicate candor that gets her point across, strengthens her understanding with each student to help them move forward and find a solutions whether long term or temporary. Shelby has taken ownership of her position with such confidence and finesse. She is always up to date and eager to learn more each day to contribute to the team. Over the course of time Shelby has made such impressive growth professionally. Whenever she is given a task, project or assignment she promptly commits to it and completes it on time with little instruction, such gusto and a creative flare.
All the students enjoy working with Shelby and rely on her to help manage their financial commitment to their education. Shelby has created a relational culture with students that makes them want to come to the FA office to discuss any issues regarding their investment as opposed to avoiding it. This has been one of her biggest accomplishments in building credibility with the student body and holding them accountable to expectations.
