Leadership Abilities

Know How to Take Charge
I am an action-oriented leader who likes to lead by example.  I have a strong will power and like to stand up and take charge when it is best for the sake of the group.  I can see what needs to be done and how to assign roles and delegate tasks to the people who are most likely capable of doing the task.  When I assign roles I count on others to follow through.  When they do not, however, I can be tough; I have no patience for inefficiency.  I am decisive which means that I can quickly make decisions and not waste time thinking when I feel it is important to do so.
I have a strong sense of reality and can clearly state my stance on topics.  Often, my suggestions on how to tackle a project influence the decisions made.  I like to run activities and can stay focused on the task.  This may throw some people off because they would expect me to pay moor attention to the people, but I can be very task oriented and work until something is complete.

Push Others to Do Better
Leaders are not  only the people who tell others what to do but they also challenge them to be better. I can easily identify personal and professional shortcomings with either others or myself.  I do not stop there, however, I then advice them on ways to improve.  As a leader I can also open other’s minds to new ideas that they may have not previously considered and challenge them to try new things.
