​Know How to Take Charge​
I am an action-oriented leader who likes to lead by example.  I have a strong will power and like to stand up and take charge when it is best for the sake of the group.  I can see what needs to be done and how to assign roles and delegate tasks to the people who are most likely capable of doing the task.  When I assign roles I count on others to follow through.  When they do not, however, I can be tough; I have no patience for inefficiency.  I am decisive which means that I can quickly make decisions and not waste time thinking when I feel it is important to do so.
I have a strong sense of reality and can clearly state my stance on topics.  Often, my suggestions on how to tackle a project influence the decisions made.  I like to run activities and can stay focused on the task.  This may throw some people off because they would expect me to pay moor attention to the people, but I can be very task oriented and work until something is complete.



Push Others to Do Better​
Leaders are not  only the people who tell others what to do but they also challenge them to be better. I can easily identify personal and professional shortcomings with either others or myself.  I do not stop there, however, I then advice them on ways to improve.  As a leader I can also open other’s minds to new ideas that they may have not previously considered and challenge them to try new things.​
